Studio Pod Process
STEP 1: DETERMINE YOUR POD LOCATION
In this phase we will need to make sure that your desired location will work for one of our Studios. Once you have picked out a spot, we will contact local crane companies in your area to set up a site visit and determine location eligibility. Once the site is approved, we will contact a licensed electrician to set up a site visit as well. We will provide them with all of the documentation needed to ensure things are ready for us when we come to do the installation.
STEP 2: PERMITTING
Most counties and municipalities do not require a permit for these types of modular structures, however, we recommend that all of our customers call their local zoning authorities and if applicable, their homeowner association, to verify eligibility.
STEP 3: FOUNDATION
Our Studios are built with a versatile base that can either be sat on a flat surface, or attached to helical piles from beneath (recommended). We will set up a video call with you to determine the best type of foundation for the location you select.
STEP 4: DESIGN YOUR STUDIO
All of our Studios are custom built to the liking of our customers. By clicking the button at the bottom of this page you can begin picking out the finishes for your pod. Once you submit the form a member of our sales team will send you the cost of your pod with the finishes you selected. Additionally, you will receive a 3D rendering of your custom Studio Pod.
STEP 5: PRODUCTION TIME
Once steps 1-4 have been completed, we will begin building your dream Studio in our Maryland shop. You will receive updates along the way with progress pictures of your Studio.
STEP 6: DELIVERY
And that’s a wrap! Get ready to enjoy your new Studio for years to come!
